TRAIL OF TWO KINGS

One king was desperate to secure his own place in history.  The other was consumed with eternity - ours.  One King ruled from indescribable opulence.  The other conceded that He had no place to rest his head.  In an unforgettable special, you'll visit four of Herod the Great's personal palaces and come face to face with this maniacal king who killed his wife, his children and anyone else who posed a threat to his throne, including the baby boys of Bethlehem.  On location interviews and sounds mix with an original music score to tell the Christmas story from a decidedly sobering perspective - Herod's.  Yet in the end, one king experiences a rise of power on earth that is fleeting, while the other embodies the very essence of power and life in the Father.
